Overview of Healthcare in Mexico with Clinical Observation (Independent)
Medical Spanish Program Overview
The Mexico Independent 1 SALUD program is four weeks and includes: 2 weeks classes with 20 hours per week of group Spanish classes (max 5 students per class) plus additional 8 hours of Medical terminology classes (4 hours per week, Monday-Thursday), shared room with a host family, 3 meals daily with host family, cultural activities, 2 full day excursions, and 2 week clinical observation placement in a local hospital or clinic.**PLEASE NOTE: If your Spanish level is less than Mid Intermediate, you can participate in SALUD Cuernavaca 2 - Intensive Spanish & Medical Terminology Program, which is designed for all levels of Spanish speakers.

Requirements
Your Spanish level must be Mid-Intermediate or higher. This program is open to the following: 2nd year Med Student, 3rd year Med Student, 4th year Med Student, Nurses, Nursing Students, Other Health Professionals, Physician Assistants.
