AmeriSpan's Spanish for Professionals programs are perfect for anyone who needs to use Spanish in a specialized field or for a specific purpose not currently offered through another Business & Professional program.
Spanish is the world's 3rd most spoken language and is needed in so many professions. The course can include topics such as advertising & PR, banking, journalism, diplomatic relations, meeting and test preparation, or any other special interest.
The Spanish for Professionals program offers participants the opportunity to focus their language training on a specific area of interest by taking 4 hrs/day of Spanish lessons in a mini-group of no more than 4 students plus 2 hrs/day of specialized private lessons. Lunch with the professor is also included during 1 hour of the daily private classes. This will help participants become comfortable during a business lunch. Participants may customize their program with vocabulary, common phrases, or materials used in their specific area.
Information about Guanajuato, Mexico (Click to view)
For nearly 200 years beginning in 1558, Guanajuato was one of the richest silver producing cities in the world. The city possesses many subterranean passageways and narrow, winding streets that make it truly unique. Brightly painted houses line steep slopes of a ravine that once contained a river. This extremely charming city is culturally very lively and exhibits an energetic, youthful feel. This is due in part to the 15,000 students attending the University of Guanajuato that is known for its art programs. During the last two weeks of October, Guanajuato hosts the Cervantes Arts Festival, attracting famous artists from around the world.
Diversity is the word that best describes Mexico's people and geography. Over 50 different indigenous groups, each with its own language, comprise 28% of Mexico's 83 million inhabitants. Divided by the Tropic of Cancer into the temperate North and the tropical South, the country boasts snow-capped volcanoes, jungle clad beaches, deserts, archeological ruins, modern cities, upscale resorts, and isolated villages.
