- Participants may choose 2 or 4 week program. Different in-depth topics are covered so no material is repeated in the 4 wk course.

Program (included in tuition):
- 6 hrs/day of workshops and lectures
- Shared room with a host family
- Breakfast and dinner daily

Possible Options (extra cost):
- Airport pick-up in Madrid
- Apartment (no meals) or Dorm (2 meals/day) instead of host family
- Private room upgrade
Start Dates:
- Program for Spanish Teachers starts July 7 or 21. Program ends August 1.
This program is designed for non-native Spanish teachers who wish to expand upon and update their knowledge of second language methodologies and theories. Participants will be able to increase pedagogical expertise by discussing controversial grammatical topics, addressing how to integrate culture, history and politics into lessons, and reviewing other related issues that will enrich any classroom back home.

The famed capital of Spain is a cosmopolitan city of unequaled culture and nightlife. With everything from world famous museums to high fashion shopping, one never runs out of things to do in Madrid. Conveniently located at a maximum of 5 hours by train or bus to any other city in Spain, its central location makes it an ideal home base for language travelers.
From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.
Participants: This program is open to Spanish educators or education students planning to teach Spanish who have at least a high intermediate language level.

- Airport pickup (Madrid): $100 , 2 or more $70/each
- Extra nights: $60/night for homestay (max 3) or $75/night apartment (max 3) or $60/night for dorm (max 3)
