Spanish & Horse Riding
Herradura, Spain
La Herradura is a quiet and small village situated in a beautiful bay, 80km east of Malaga. This former fishing hamlet now offers facilities and services for visitors without having lost any of it's charm and friendly atmosphere. This part of Spain's long coast line is mostly popular with Spanish holiday-goers who seek mountains dotted with white-washed traditional villages, and long stretches of quiet beaches where one can practice many aquatic sports such as sailing and scubadiving, paragliding, and hiking and rock climbing in the mountains the whole year around.
Enjoy a horseback riding tour through the monumental region of La Alpujarra, one of the most peculiar andalusian regions in Europe. The beauty of its outstanding landscapes has been attractive to artists and writers since centuries ago. Each village has something that is worth to contemplate. You will be staying in a rural house in the village of Berchules.
Requirements:
Participants: Wide age range. Mostly Europeans with some North Americans.
Other: The program consists of 1 week intensive Spanish course in La Herradura and 4 days horse riding in groups in la Alpujarra.
