Playa Colorada, or the ‘Colored Beach,’ is one of the many that make up Mochima National Park. This small beach is located less than 10 kilometers from Santa Fe and half an hour from the city of Puerto La Cruz. Playa Colorada is one of the most photographed beaches in Venezuela and it is easy to see why. The red sandy beaches are lined with palm trees and the water is crystal clear. Standing on the sand, you can see some of the 32 islands the make up Mochima National Park.
