Learning Spanish abroad in Herradura, Spain is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.
Learn Spanish Language in Spain:
La Herradura is a quiet and small village situated in a beautiful bay, 80km east of Malaga. This former fishing hamlet now offers facilities and services for visitors without having lost any of it's charm and friendly atmosphere. This part of Spain's long coast line is mostly popular with Spanish holiday-goers who seek mountains dotted with white-washed traditional villages, and long stretches of quiet beaches where one can practice many aquatic sports such as sailing and scubadiving, paragliding, and hiking and rock climbing in the mountains the whole year around.
School Facilities:
The school is located in a new building 5 minutes from the centre of the village. There are 4 comfortable classrooms, a recreation room with a library and computers with free internet access. There is a terrace right on the beach with benches where students can relax and enjoy the lovely sea view. The school has central heat and air and is handicap accessible.

Wide age range. Mostly Europeans with some North Americans.
