Learning French abroad in Biarritz, France is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. France is world-renowned for its rich history and spectacular cuisine. The landscape ranges from the high cliffs and rocky beaches in the north, to the resorts of the Riviera in the south. France’s beautiful countryside is abundant with vineyards and farms. Cosmopolitan cities and quaint towns make France a diverse country ripe in culture and charm.
Learn French Language in France:
Once a fishing village located in French Basque country near the Spanish border, this beautiful city of beaches is known as the ‘California of Europe’. The city of Biarritz became famous in the 19th century when Empress Eugenie, the wife of Napolean III, fell in love with this area and built a palace on the beach, now the world-class Hotel du Palais. Recognized as one of the most famous coastal resorts in the world and the surf capital of France, the number of visitors to this area greatly increases during the summer months. It offers fine beaches, golf, ‘cesta punta’ or a game played with a ball and scoop-like racket, nightly folkloric performances, casinos, or a stroll through displays of Basque music and handicrafts.
School Facilities:
Ideally located close to Biarritz town center, train station and airport. This modern and spacious building offers 15 bright, air conditioned classrooms. A small lounge area, computers with internet access and self study room is also at students disposal during class hours.
