Spanish School Facilities:The university is located in the same eastern residential area of San Jose as our "1st Choice" school but in the Zapote neighborhood, about 10 min. from the center of San Jose. The campus is an urban campus, with one main building and some spill over to others when needed, like during the summer. The facilities are modern with lots of natural light and include fully-equipped classrooms, library, cafeteria, computer lab, photography lab & design workshop. Students get a university ID and have all the same rights & privileges as the Costa Rican Students.

Participants:Approximately 1,600 students including 250-300 study abroad students. Majority are degree-seeking Costa Rican students. The study abroad students are mostly from U.S. and Europe.
Accreditation Memberships:Ministry of Education of Costa Rica, SINAES (Sistema Nacional de Acreditacion de la Educacion Superior). CCIS (College Consortium for International Studies), NAFSA (Association of International Educators), LASO, and AECI.
Other Program Info:AmeriSpan's 4 week program does not include the excursion package that some other organizations offer.
