Spanish School Facilities:
Very nice, modern building with large windows and view of a volcano. Located in San Joaquin de Flores, a few minutes outside of Costa Rica's capital. Classes take place mainly in class rooms, but occasionally outside in the gardens. There are 17 class rooms. There is a cafeteria, administrative office, student room with 2 computers for email access and a ping pong table. Capacity is 70 students/day.
What We Like:

- Only 1 student per family
- Homestays within walking distance (or transport provided.)
- Possible to switch to the school's other campuses at Flamingo Beach or in the Monteverde cloud forest
- School organizes activities

Participants are mainly university students and professionals from US and Canada. Some Europeans (mostly from Germany, UK and the Netherlands).
Accreditation Memberships:
Approved for credit through several US institutions.
Other Program Info:
There are additional campuses in Monteverde (in the mountains, by the Cloud Forest Reserve), and at Flamingo Beach. Accommodations with homestays are available. You can sign up for the Monteverde or/and Flamingo Beach campus when registering. On site changes usually require 2 weeks notice, $50 charge, and are based on availability.
