Spanish School Facilities:

The school is a modern 2-story building off the main road, surrounded by pine trees and facing the Gulf of Nicoya. There are 17 indoor classrooms, garden, video room with ping pong table, kitchen, dining area. Capacity is 70 students/day.

Very limited public transportation available for local commutes
Many English speakers in the area
Basic living conditions (small room, plain food, etc.)

Participants are mainly university students and professionals from US.

Approved for credit through several US institutions.

Other Program Info:

There is an additional campus in San Joaquin (a few minutes outside of San Jose), and Flamingo Beach. Accommodations with homestays are available. You may sign up for these campuses when registering. On site changes usually require 2 weeks notice, $50 charge, and are based on availability.
