Learning Chinese abroad in Beijing, China is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. China is more than a country – it is a whole different world, from shop-till-you-drop metropolises to the epic grasslands of Inner Mongolia, with deserts, sacred peaks, astounding caves, and imperial ruins in between. Along with the stark contrasts comes stark beauty; there is plenty to see if you can wade through the crowds.
Learn Chinese Language in China:
An ancient capital of six dynasties, Beijing is one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in the world. Temples, parks, and historic sites all sing wonderfully and powerfully of the dream that was Old Cathay, but in the same hallowed space there's a new Beijing taking shape. Just outside the exquisite walls of Beijing's monuments, steel and concrete are steadily replacing silk and carved wood.
School Facilities:
Classes are held in modern, air-conditioned buildings in two Beijing locations. Internet access is available in both locations. The SOHO campus building is located in the central business district and has 14 classrooms, student lounge and offices. The Wangjing campus is located in the north eastern part of Beijing with 20 classrooms, student lounge, dining hall and 3 outdoor balconies. Both locations have many restaurants and shopping nearby, as well as easy access to public transportation. Capacity is 200-300 students per day.
Participants:
Mostly students and travelers under 30 years old. Wide range of nationalities with the majority from Europe.
