It is a country diverse in culture, landscape, and style. The country is covered by dense Amazon rainforest in the north and central regions. The coastal regions of Brazil offer some of the most famous and beautiful beaches in the world. Each city in Brazil has its own unique character ranging from the modern capital of Brasilia to the tourist capital of Rio de Janeiro to the port city of Maceio. Portuguese is the language spoken in Brazil.
Learn Portuguese Language in Brazil:
Maceio is a port city located on the east coast of Brazil and is about a 2-hour flight north from Rio. It is the state capital of Alagoas and is best known for its tropical lagoons and beaches. Because Maceio is largely undiscovered by foreign tourists, it is a great destination for language students.
School Facilities:
The school is located a 5-minute walk from the beach. Two buildings separated by a lush garden with 6 classrooms, a kitchen and common area. Capacity of 50 students/day.
Participants:
Mostly from the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. The age mix includes university students, professionals, and independent travelers.

The city of Maceio is located in the northeastern part of Brazil. There are Flights from North America and Europe to Recife, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. From there you fly to Maceio.

* Sao Paulo – Maceio 3 hours by plane
