This program is designed for people from 50 years of age and up who want to learn Spanish or improve their current language skills while discovering the Spanish culture first-hand. You will have the opportunity to do cultural activities and excursions for 50+ participants, such as visits to monuments and museums, tapas and guided walking tours during the week.

Located in the Northern part of Spain about 60 miles from San Sebastian, Pamplona has a population of about 200,000. The city sits at an altitude of 1,457 feet above sea level on a hill that overlooks the Arga River and the surrounding valley. The city is famous for the San Fermin Festival each July, in which the “The Running of the Bulls” or encierro is one of the main attractions. During the rest of the year, the city has a relaxed, laid-back feel. With its tree-lined paseos and its cobble-stoned streets in the old city, Pamplona is a nice place to study Spanish.
From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.

Other: The course consists of 40 lessons of general Spanish complemented by cultural and social activities for two weeks; Monday to Friday.
Prices for optional excursions on weekends are not included in the program.
