The relaxing seaside location of this program makes it the perfect place for beginner and experienced Yogis alike. This program aims to enrich your practice and give you the tools to deepen what you already know. The program focuses on building the flexibility, balance and strength needed for surfing. Certified instructors will give you a taste of several different styles of yoga, including Iyengar based Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Anusara based classes. Offered year round to participants of all skill levels, this program provides you with 1.5 hours of Yoga each day (Mon-Fri) as well as 2 hours of Spanish class. Yoga classes are taught in English.

Jaco's proximity as the closest real beach town to San Jose makes it an extremely popular weekend destination for residents from the capital region. In addition to fantastic surf conditions, Jaco offers endless opportunities for water sports and other outdoor activities, as well as a bustling nightlife.
Known as the Switzerland of Central America, Costa Rica has an abundance of natural beauty and is populated by a friendly, well-educated people. Costa Rica has obtained the highest standard of living in Central America by embracing democracy and disbanding its army. This small country is a paradise for nature lovers with national parks, jungles, volcanoes, beaches, and more water per square mile than any other country in the world, excluding New Zealand. However, the small pre-Colombian indigenous population was wiped out by diseases brought to the new world by the conquistadors.
Participants: Students are mostly from the US and Europe, with average ages between 18 and 35.
Airport pick up: from San Jose, to be paid directly to driver. Must request pickup in advance.
