Studying Spanish and Salsa in Antigua, Guatemala, is a wonderful experience. Classes are held in small groups; the school runs many cultural activities in the afternoon; and Antigua offers a plethora of cafés, restaurants and dance clubs to relax after a day and practice what you learned. Salsa dancing is fun, provides good exercise, and the music is always cheerful. This program combines 4 hour per day of group Spanish classes with 8 lessons per week of salsa.

Guatemala is recognized as the cultural center of the pre-discovered New World. As the origin of the mysterious Mayan Civilization and still predominantly indigenous, the country offers some of the continent's richest folklore. The cultural blend of the indigenous, Spanish and African peoples can be seen in many aspects of daily life. Ancient rituals are intertwined with Christianity. Moreover, there is an abundance of high quality, low-priced handmade goods.
Participants: Most are from the US and Europe and there is a wide age range.
Airport Pickup Comments: Please arrive before 9.30 pm. If you arrive after 9.30pm, airport pickup is subject to availability and when possible, a late pickup fee of $15 will be applied.
If NOT opting for the pick-up service, please arrive to lodging only during the following times: between 10am and noon or between 6pm and 8pm.
