Host School:
The Test of Russian as a Foreign Language, known as TORFL, is the standardized test supervised by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. The examinations tests a candidates in five sections: Grammar, Writing, Speaking, Listening and Reading These exams are of great international value for those wishing to study or work in a Russian-speaking environment.
In this flexible course, students can choose the dates and number of weeks they wish to prepare, based on their current Russian level and the level of exam that wish to pass. The course combines group Russian classes in the mornings with afternoon session that will prepare students for the exam. Once they have completed their studies, the school will administer the official exam at school.
The Diploma exists in 5 main levels:
TEU - Elementary - Level A1
TBU - Basic - Level A2
TRKI 1 � Intermediate - Level B1
TRKI 2 � Upper Intermediate - Level B2
TRKI 3 � Advanced - Level C1

Russia has a wealth of natural resources such as oil, natural gas, minerals and timber. Moscow is the center for many manufacturing industries including cars and steel. There is certainly no lack of entertainment in Russia. From circuses to ballets and classical music to jazz festivals, Russia’s entertainment culture is sure to excite any traveler seeking fun activities. Many say you feel Russia’s diverse history and intense culture embrace you when you arrive. Luckily, for the first time in Russia’s extensive history, the country is open for anyone to visit!

Program Notes
- Program prices do not include examination fees. Exam fees range from 125 - 150 Euros depending on your level. They are paid upon arrival.
Exams are taken onsite at the completion of the course. Dates are flexible.
- Airport Pickup: Included with lodging.
Airport pick-up is only included with homestay or apartment accommodation AND if arriving on Sunday. For classes only program or arriving other than Sunday, airport pickup is not offered.
- Extra homestay nights: $75/night
- Extra apartment nights: not offered
- Additional private classes: $60/hour, minimum 20 hours
- NOTE: If studying 4 weeks or more $100.00 non-refundable visa processing fee will be applied
- Seasonal Surcharge 2012:
If studying between May 28 - Sept. 16, you must add $100/wk to all prices.
