The DELE, or Diplomas de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera, are the official diplomas issued by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes and the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport certifying Spanish language proficiency at various levels for non-native speakers. These exams are of great international value for those wishing to study or work in a Spanish-speaking environment.
In this program, students will prepare for the exam using a variety of classroom materials and samples from previous years' tests. The course aims to advance student ability in all the linguistic skills including: Reading Comprehension, Written Expression, Grammar, Vocabulary, Auditory Comprehension, and Oral Expression.
The DELE exists in three levels; each corresponds to a certain level described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:
CIE: Certificado Inicial - B1 Elementary Level
DIE: Diploma Intermedio - B2 Intermediate Level
DSE: Diploma Superior - C2 Superior Proficiency
