Requirements:
- Minimum Spanish Level: High-Intermediate (if zero, add 14-16 weeks of regular Spanish before course)
Program (included in tuition):
- 10hrs/week group Spanish language classes
- 10hrs/week one-on-one specialized professional language training
- 5hrs/week Spanish culture training
- Shared room with host family
- Breakfast and dinner daily
- 2-3 organized activities per week
- Walking city orientation tour
- Emergency message service
Start Dates:
- 2 or 4 week program beginning the first Monday of each month
The Spanish tourism industry has experienced an incredible boom in the past years, largely as a result of a strong, focused marketing campaign. Salamanca is a lively city and an ideal location for Marketing professionals and students to get their creative juices flowing while improving their Spanish language skills. AmeriSpan’s specialized Spanish for Marketing program aims to introduce key vocabulary and common expressions used in the Spanish marketing world. Students have the opportunity to customize their program to fit their specific professional needs in a timeframe that fits their schedule. We recommend that participants have a mid-intermediate level of Spanish proficiency to benefit the most from this program.

Known as “La Dorada,” or Golden City, for the glow of its sandstone buildings. It is one of the 5 Spanish cities declared by UNESCO as a “Mankind Heritage” site. The world's second oldest university is here, boasting a student population of 30,000 (5,000 of whom are foreigners) that provides a lively atmosphere and nightlife. Enjoy concerts, lectures, and theater, or congregate in the famous Plaza Mayor.
From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.
Participants: Business Professionals mainly from Northern Europe and North America. Wide age range. It is advised that participants have at least an intermediate Spanish proficiency for this program.
Other: Located in a large, historical, renovated building that hosted the "College of Medicine" until the 16th Century. 30+ classrooms, renaissance patio, garden, cafeteria, lecture room, computer room with Internet access. 5 minute walk to Plaza Mayor.
