Requirements:
- Minimum Spanish Level: High-Intermediate (if zero, add 14-16 weeks of regular Spanish before course)
Program (included in tuition):
- 2 hrs/day (10 hrs/week) group Spanish classes (max 10)
- 2 hrs/day (10 hrs/wk) specialized Law classes
- 5 hrs/week Spanish culture training
- Shared room with host family
- Breakfast and dinner daily
- Laundry service
- 2-3 organized activities per week
- Emergency message service
Possible Options (extra cost):
- Airport pick-up in Madrid
- Apartment (no meals) or Dorm (2 meals/day) instead of host family
- Private room upgrade
Start Dates:

AmeriSpan's customized Spanish for Law program is designed for lawyers, judges, law students, and anyone else who needs to learn the Spanish language as it pertains to their specific professional needs. The program is designed to introduce specific vocabulary and common expressions used in the Spanish legal world and to provide legal professionals with experience using the terminology with native speakers. We recommend that participants have a mid-intermediate level of Spanish proficiency to benefit the most from this program.

The famed capital of Spain is a cosmopolitan city of unequaled culture and nightlife. With everything from world famous museums to high fashion shopping, one never runs out of things to do in Madrid. Conveniently located at a maximum of 5 hours by train or bus to any other city in Spain, its central location makes it an ideal home base for language travelers.
From its dazzling beaches to its ancient castles, Spain is a country as diverse as the cultures which have influenced its art, architecture, music and lifestyle. It is a land where cathedrals and castles are interspersed with skyscrapers, where modern rock mixes with flamenco guitar, and night clubs compete with cozy "tapas" bars. Spain offers some of the world's most famous museums, resorts, and festivals, making it a unique and enchanting destination.
Participants: Lawyers, judges, court officials, clerks, and law students. Mostly from Europe, Japan and US. Wide age range. Also, English is taught to locals here.
Other: Completely refurbished 110-year-old building in the city center, near Glorieta Ruiz Jimenez/ San Bernardo. 3 floors, 32 classrooms, coffee bar, library, computer room, and a common room shared with Spanish university students. Capacity is 500 students/day.
