Many of the principals of banking used globally today were first developed as far back as the second century A.D. in the ancient capital of Rome. Today Rome is still the financial capital of Italy and an ideal place to learn the Italian language in relation to the banking profession. AmeriSpan’s two-week Italian Banking program aims to provide Banking professionals and students with the basic vocabulary and professional expressions that are most often used in the Italian Banking world. The topics are confronted with topical readings from manuals used in banking, as well as the analysis of forms and materials currently used in banks. On-site bank visits can usually be arranged upon student request. A minimum intermediate level of Italian proficiency is required for this program.
The group classes will cover general Italian using the communicative method. Your private classes will be tailored to your needs and can include specialized vocabulary, exercises and specific learning materials.

Information about Rome, Italy (Click to view)
Rome is located in the middle of Italy on its western coast, about 20km inland. The sense of history, art, and architecture in Rome is all-embracing, and quite simply a feast for the eyes. There is a hectic vibrancy of anarchic traffic, piazzas, fountains, and fabulous restaurants. The historic city center is quite small and most of the major sights are within a reasonable distance of the central railway station.
Known for its diverse regions, rich culture, and fabulous food, boot-shaped Italy possesses perhaps the most instantly identifiable physical shape of any country in the world. You can visit Roman ruins, gawk at Renaissance art, stay in tiny hill towns, ski the Alps, explore the canals of Venice, and see more churches than you can imagine. Naturally, you can indulge in the elementary pleasures of good food, improving your wardrobe, and seeking out "la dolce vita." From its beaches to its Alpine mountains, Italy vibrates with a special soul that is reflected in its people, music, and art.
