Requirements:
- Minimum Italian Level: Low Intermediate
Program (included in tuition):
- 4 hrs/day (20 hrs/week) group Italian classes (max 12)
- 2 hrs/day (10 hrs/wk) private specialized classes
- Shared room with host family
- 2 meals daily
- Some organized activities
- Emergency message service

Florence offers something for everyone. Its excellent food, beautiful Tuscan countryside, historic monument, and relaxed atmosphere draw people from all over the world. AmeriSpan offers this specialized program for students and professionals who have a need to learn the Italian language for specific purposes not currently offered through our other specialized programs. Examples include Marketing, Advertising or PR professionals, history buffs, or college students who need to fulfill specific language requirements. Based on your specific needs, and your time frame the course will be individually constructed by our highly skilled program directors. The course is open to all language levels and is offered to start any Monday, making it convenient, while the combination of group and private lessons makes it extremely effective and cost efficient.

Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, is considered the heartbeat of the country with its breathtaking architecture and sculpture, cultural events and museums. The streets of Florence radiate the charm of Italian culture.
Known for its diverse regions, rich culture, and fabulous food, boot-shaped Italy possesses perhaps the most instantly identifiable physical shape of any country in the world. You can visit Roman ruins, gawk at Renaissance art, stay in tiny hill towns, ski the Alps, explore the canals of Venice, and see more churches than you can imagine. Naturally, you can indulge in the elementary pleasures of good food, improving your wardrobe, and seeking out "la dolce vita." From its beaches to its Alpine mountains, Italy vibrates with a special soul that is reflected in its people, music, and art.
Participants: International mix of students, most from USA, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Other: The school is situated in a beautiful historical palazzo with a magnificent view of the Cathedral in the heart of downtown Florence, only a few minutes from most famous sights. The school facitilities include 18 classrooms, a lounge area with snack, drink and coffee machines, a classroom with video facilities for film evenings, audio facilities and also free Internet access.
